ICT are planning the migration of all WKC staff and students to the Microsoft Office 365 (O365) environment to create a joint intranet for the Group. We are aware there are a limited number of staff and students that currently use our existing WKC O365 features such as OneDrive for storage of documents/files. We ask that you take note of the following and contact the ICT team if you have any questions.

ICT are currently working on creating a new Joint Intranet and Student Portal for WKC Staff and Students that will use the functionality of Office 365, some of the benefits will be:

  • Access to O365 email for students
  • Access to the O365 online app store
  • SharePoint Online (Intranet/Portal)
  • Office Online – ability to collaborate on online documents
  • Office Downloads and more…

If you currently use OneDrive with your Westking email address, please note:

  • Access to files stored on your OneDrive will be lost once we start the migration
  • You will need to move/copy/download any files stored and save them in a different location
  • Access to the new Portal/O365 will not be available until the start of the next academic Year (September)
Migration is planned to start week commencing 2nd May so all files need to be moved before that date.
